What is Death? Death is not an end, life has no end. Death is a way of living, and from the moment we are born most of our life is spent dying.
It is true, as many of the great wise men said, ‘We live to die’
and every bit of that statement hits close to home for everyone of us. There are times in our lives where we are stagnant pools of water and the whole time we become dirty, infected, plagued with parasites. We choose to stay still and let other decide our faith.
From birth we get infected by these parasites, our parents, teachers, friends, from the beginning condition our minds from strong flowing rivers, into stagnant lifeless pools.
We have those moments in life where we feel lifeless so we say to ourselves something like
“I’m going to change and go crazy and start living life”
But when we try it falls flat in our faces and we gets discourage to become the raging beautiful river. But why does it happen?
Because the transition from a life of dying to a life of truly living cannot happen over night, there are many factors one must understand. There is also a lot of factors that has to be changed before one can truly make progression.
I use to think ego was an enemy and all i wanted to do with ego was to destroy it but i realized it is almost impossible to function in this age of living and environment without it. Thats why no matter how hard I tried to loose my ego it always backfired. the only way one can drop all ego is to honestly strip down to nothing, sell all possessions and just live in the moment. I am definitely not ready for such a journey, it does make me sad but at the same time ever more conscious.
One must first take step by step approaches to mind sets and ways of life. It is sometimes just impossible when someone has restrictions in their life they must get rid of them first in order to feel a difference.
On that note, yes we can agree society is fucked up, the government is fucked up, education is fucked up but we abide by their restrictions so we cannot act how we feel and see the results unless we completely free ourselves from their threshold.
That does not mean we cannot find happiness in understanding our restrictions. Yes we live by their rules, but yes we can also take advantage of them.
They do not OWN us we just live on contract, always remember that.
Have you ever seen a bunch of wild animals? they are completely free, no restraints from any LAW even until death. When you capture a wild animal it fights back to the death, even if we have good intentions it does not want to be hold back from any rules, it lives by its own.
But when we capture and animal from birth and raise it up, bring it up to not be wild and free it is conditioned the same way as us. That is exactly what we are, wild at heart but brainwashed to think otherwise.
Have you noticed how we as people are so scared of individuals. Individuals is what makes the crowd tremble they are scared. Not because that individual is free in expressing themselves but because it represents everything they are not. Everything they want to be but are too scared. But what they are is just dying.
I would rather live for 1 second free than 50 years restricted. There is no end, there is only a beginning, even if death was the end, wouldn’t that make it more easier to choose. But no we have to much fear and doubt, we fear of being wrong. We need an answer for everything. Just an answer will do. Right or wrong does not matter.
The free don’t need an answer. The free is living their answer, right this moment they are spontaneous. The past the future does not bother them, as long as they are free now its what matters.
Every second that goes by doing something we were told means were dying, time is an illusion. A man with nothing who dies young lives more than a man with everything even if he died a 100.
As Osho has influences me,
I would rather spit on the bible or the flag of my country than on a flower. A flower is living, it is serving its purpose, it smells good, and make me happy. A bible is just a book, lifeless, sure it has writing, but its not mine, i do not believe in it, i did not write it. A flag may represent your country but what is there to represent? isn’t everyone the same? regardless of whether your flag is blue or green or has stars. We all have a heart that beats, but are we really wasting those beats.
Our environment dictates our rules, so just change you environment, if you are not happy, you can be.
Live your life rational according to your rules but never ever for one second believe thats how it should be. When we truly understand and live life to our full potential step by step our environment will change to our rules, not the other way round. And eventually when we get good enough, we will have no rules.
Have the confidence not the stupidity to question authority. Have the courage to trust in life. Have the courage to be who you are.
As Osho said “darkness is not the opposite of light, it is the absence of it” and once we have just a little bit of light, Darkness does not exist.
And it is the same with fear, as long as there is trust, fear does not exist.
